Backing the clever ideas that move communities forward

Community building through fresh thinking

Helping people face the future with confidence. That’s what we always strive to do at Aviva. And it’s what we want to continue to do for causes in the UK.

We’ve learnt the causes that make the biggest impact are those that are given the opportunity to explore and test new ideas without fear of risk. That’s why the Aviva Community Fund backs the small causes with forward-thinking ideas and provides even more with vital support and resources.

Funding those at the forefront of community progress

The Aviva Community Fund delivers funding and support all year-round. Every three months we split £250,000 among our UK employees to donate to the projects that matter to them most.

Applications for eligible causes are open. Through Crowdfunder, causes can add to any donations they get from the Aviva Community Fund with public donations.

Pulling in all our resources to push communities forward

Beyond the funding of forward-thinking ideas, we also want to connect all charities with people and resources that can help them thrive. In particular, we’re focused on sharing the experience, skills and enthusiasm within Aviva, to support all charities through free online resources, networking forums, and volunteering. Working together, we can build stronger communities and have a positive impact across the UK.
