What makes you proud?

As part of people’s project submissions, we have asked them to share what makes them most proud of their community, their projects and the organisations they are requesting funding for.

FOLV is supported by many community members who have come together in order to help OLV care for the young children attending the school. The volunteers work very hard to raise the community spirit and to help the school keep going for the next generation of children.

We’re extremely proud of the school, and the support that the PTA gives not only provides them with much needed funds but also helps create a real community feel within the school. A real team effort!

Children's health and wellbeing is so important for the healthy development of all areas of learning. This project would enable ALL of our children to participate in physical activities that some would not get at home. Mansbridge Community Pre-School is dedicated to children's health and wellbeing.

I was a member of the group as a beaver and have progressed through the group becoming a cub, scout and explorer. In the last 2 years I took on the responsibility of the cub group to give back what I received from this brilliant group through the 14 years I have been involved since joining.
