Building a brighter future for our communities takes teamwork. It’s a partnership. Through the Aviva Broker Community Fund we can help you to make even more a difference this year, together.

By getting behind a local project you love, you could win them an award of £5,000, £10,000 or £20,000 to help them drive long lasting change.

New for this year, all projects entered will have the opportunity to boost their funding even further by Crowdfunding and accessing match funding from Aviva.

Broker applications are now open

Nominate any community cause that is actively making a difference on a local level under one of the two themes:

Financial wellbeing: helping people take control of their wellbeing by giving them the tools to be more financially independent and ready for anything

Climate action: promoting healthy, thriving communities by preventing, preparing for and protecting against the impacts of climate change.

Who can apply

Applications to the Aviva Broker Community Fund must be made by an employee of an insurance brokerage that is operating in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man that trades General Insurance business and be over the age of 18. You will also need to ensure you have the necessary permission to enter the fund and for the brokerage name to be used by Aviva in connection with the fund.

Decide which community project you’d like to support

Whether you’re already supporting a local project or wanting to start a new partnership, there are loads of great community causes that would benefit from a boost from your support and an entry into the Aviva entry this year. See the examples under the two themes or take a look at some of our previous winners on Aviva broker for inspiration.

Get to know your project

Talk to the project to find out if they’re eligible and what difference an award of £5,000, £10,000 or £20,000 could make in your community.

Start your entry

When you’re ready to apply, head over to our entry page to register and start completing your entry. The best entries are those written in partnership with your project. You can both contribute to the application online by adding the project contact and saving it as you go – so you don’t have to have all the answers before you start.

Submit your entry to our judges

Submit your entry by 31 October. Once you submit your entry it will be moderated and confirmed as received. Judging will take place in November before finalists are announced on 18 November 2024.

Winners announced

Finalist brokers and their projects will be invited to the Broker Community Fund Finale event on 12 March 2025 where winners will be announced and awarded. Whether you’re announced as a finalist, and in the running for one of the broker awards this year or not, you’ll have the opportunity to launch a Crowdfunding page and benefit from match funding from Aviva up to £50,000*.
