Our charity, English for Speakers of Other Languages, delivers free English lessons to refugees and migrant workers. The current corona virus outbreak and school closures has highlighted that some of the families we support are lacking adequate IT facilities. We have seen examples where a family of six have been sharing one phone. Access to vital online learning resources are limited and educational opportunities hampered.

We are launching an exciting campaign aimed at fighting digital poverty.

Our vision is to have library of laptops and tablets that families can borrow. In addition we aim to provide families with broadband connection and  IT buddies to help with technical problems. We want to put an end to IT inequality.

With good IT access parents can continue to work and study English and children can access online learning resources to assist school work.
