Feathers Futures is a small, values-led charity in Great Yarmouth that supports women facing disadvantage, trauma, and isolation. We’d love help from someone with marketing or comms experience who can support us in raising awareness of our work, promoting activities and fundraising campaigns, and growing our online presence.

You could help us by reviewing our current marketing efforts, improving our use of social media, updating website content, designing flyers, or helping with storytelling and case studies. Your time and creativity could help us connect with more women who need support, as well as new funders, supporters, and partners.

We are keen to raise awareness of the work we do, but we must always do this sensitively. Many of the women we support come to us in confidence, and it’s essential they feel safe and reassured that their stories and experiences are kept private. We need support that balances sharing our impact with protecting the privacy of those we walk alongside.

Our goal is to increase our reach and visibility, particularly with donors and funders, as we are currently facing a shortfall in income while demand for our services continues to grow.

You’re welcome to help us in person or online, whatever suits you best. Even a few hours of your time could make a big difference!

We’d love to hear from someone who has experience or enthusiasm for marketing, communications, digital content, or design. You don’t have to be a professional just someone who’s happy to share what they know to help us grow.

If you’re creative, organised, and passionate about helping a small charity with a big heart, we’d love to welcome you into our community. You’ll be helping to give women a stronger voice and raising awareness of the challenges they face.

You don’t need to bring anything—just yourself! If you're joining us in person, we’ll provide refreshments and a warm welcome. Remote support is also very welcome.

Feathers Futures is a women’s centre and supports women with lived experience of trauma. To maintain a safe environment, our in-person spaces are open to women only during opening hours.

However, we absolutely welcome support from all volunteers, regardless of gender. If you're not able to visit in person, we’d love to work with you remotely or arrange times outside of our usual hours. Your time, ideas, and skills are truly valued.
