Help us expand our education and support for farmers to grow the CSA movement across the UK

We want to see a CSA in every neighbourhood in the UK. That’s only going to happen by giving new entrants the knowledge they need to hit the ground running without repeating easily avoidable, and potentially expensive, mistakes.

The Community Supported Agriculture Network UK Network is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to promoting sustainable farming practices and giving community members ready access to fresh, seasonal produce.

We support agroecological and organic farms growing directly for their local communities, using the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model to foster financial sustainability for the farmer and community resilience for all involved.

In CSA, farms commit to growing fruit, veg, meat, flowers, fibre and fuel for their members. Their members commit to paying for a share of the farm’s harvest, often through a seasonal or annual subscription.

CSA is an efficient, low-waste business model with a direct relationship between producer and consumer. It’s one of the most climate and nature-friendly ways of producing food and other products, with produce grown directly for the community.

Where we need your help

We’re aiming to raise a minimum of £10,000 through Crowdfunder.

In 2025 we want to expand the training, information sharing and support we give farms. We’re raising funds to allow us to offer more subsidised spaces on our online and in-person training courses.

We’ll also print more of our essential A-Z guides for starter CSAs and expand our presence (including talks and workshops) at agroecological events across the UK.

Thank you

We value everyone who joins us in nurturing a model that works for people, planet, and producer. Fulfilment dates for most rewards are when the Crowdfunder ends.
