0Cornwall Pride 2025: It's Not Just a Parade, It's a Movement Across the Region.
The reality is, Pride isn’t one day in one place, and it never should be. In Cornwall, it’s a whole year, stretching from spring to winter, weaving its way through towns and communities that have often been left behind. And we’re not slowing down. In 2025, Cornwall Pride is back and In Cornwall Pride has 15 dates, yes, 15, across the Duchy. That’s not just big, it’s intentional.
Because visibility matters. Joy matters. And showing up, especially in rural places, matters more than ever.
Here’s where we’re bringing the love in 2025:
Launceston (the crafts day) – 5 April
Falmouth – 26 April
Trans Fal Pride (by collection of trans and ally groups in Falmouth) – 17 May
Bodmin (the sports day) – 24 May
Penzance – 31 May
Liskeard – 28 June
Helston (by Helstons community) - 28th June
Redruth (the tea party) – 5 July
Truro – 26 July
Newquay (Cornwall Pride) – 30 August
Bude (the camp out) – 6 September
St Austell (by Transparent Presence)– 13 September
Saltash (the ramble) – 27 September
Camborne (by House of Damnation) - 11 October
St Ives ( the cultural day) – 25 October
That’s 15 chances to feel seen, safe, celebrated, and maybe even start something that carries on well beyond the day itself.
So what’s the vibe this year?
Pride 2025 is colourful, yes, but it’s also careful. It’s joyful, but it’s rooted. We’ve got live music, local voices, stalls, workshops, and space for the community to just be. Whether you’re popping by for the first time or you’ve been with us since the early days, it’s all for you.
We’re bringing:
Penguin Soup, peer-led wellbeing spaces with mental health support that actually listens.
Safer Spaces, real signs in windows that mean something, not just rainbow stickers.
Inclusion Training, because turning up for your staff, customers and community shouldn't just be a policy.
But here’s the point...
This isn’t a party. This is about showing every LGBTQ+ person, and every marginalised person, that they matter here. In Cornwall. In their hometown. Right now.
Because for some, these Prides are the first time they’ve felt safe holding someone’s hand in public. Or wearing what feels like them. Or saying out loud who they are. That stuff sticks forever.
Get involved
Turn up. Walk with us. Volunteer. Partner (Sponsor). Bring your stall. Shout about it. Or just stand at the sidelines and smile as the parade passes. However you show up, everyone is welcome.
Let’s make Pride about more than rainbow flags. Let’s make it about community, about courage, about joy, and about Cornwall.
