We are here to support people when they don't know where else to turn. Our funds are unable to keep pace with the current increasing demand. Every penny we are able to raise will help us to continue and expand our vital service. For example....

£10 could pay for form filling and printing for a client who doesn't have internet access.

£25 could fund a one hour advice appointment.

£50 could help us campaign to reduce the disadvantages people in our community face.

£100 could buy a headset for an adviser to take a client call.

£150 could help fund training for an expert adviser.

£250 could help us deliver a cost of living workshop in the community

£1500 could help us train an adviser to become  fully qualified.

Our services have never been more in demand than they are now. If you can afford it, please donate to help us continue and expand our vital advice service  at this particularly challenging time. We are seeing significant increases in clients seeking benefit advice and charitable support, and an almost overwhelming increase in those seeking support around energy.

The chart below shows the average and actual number of energy clients from 2019 to now and it is projected to continue to grow.

All donations will make a significant difference to the service that we provide this winter enabling us to ensure quality supervision is available on all advice sessions, which means we can run more advice sessions, which means we will be able to support more clients at this critical time. In addition, this money will help us recruit and train volunteers to join our advice team.

We are here to support people when they don't know where else to turn. People come to us with a range of issues from money problems to relationships, employment, homelessness and more. Many people who come to us have a disability, long-term health condition or mental health problem. The issues they bring to us are often urgent, confusing and distressing. Nearly half the issues we deal with involve financial crises whether it's guiding someone through the maze of benefits , tax credits or universal credit or helping someone manage their debt - we are here to help.

Our funds are unable to keep pace with the current increasing demand for our services. Every penny we are able to raise will help us to continue and expand our vital service. For example....

  • £15 could buy a headset for a phone adviser to take a client call.
  • £25 could fund a one hour advice appointment.
  • £50 could fund publicity materials providing support on the cost of living crisis
  • £100 could help fund a one hour appointment with an expert debt & benefit adviser.
  • £150 could provide a dedicated training session on housing advice
  • £250 could deliver a cost of living support workshop in the community
