Hello! We are Keynsham Community Energy. We’re a Community Benefit Society set up to generate and promote affordable renewable energy in our town.

We are helping people reduce their energy bills and their carbon footprint by giving away free energy efficiency products. Over the past two years we have given radiator reflectors, insulation strips, draught excluders and energy efficient light bulbs to many Keynsham residents who are struggling to keep their homes warm.

We hold pop up energy cafes in venues around the town and regularly speak at events, where we provide advice and energy efficiency products. This work has been funded by a grant from the Bath and West Community Fund, but the funding is about to come to an end.

As energy prices and general living costs soar, many more people in Keynsham will have to make the heart-breaking choice between eating or heating their homes. That’s why we want to carry on this much needed project and provide even more people in our community with practical help and advice.
