Who are we, and what is our project about?

We are a specialist wildlife rehabilitation and conservation centre based in North Devon, with focus on addressing climate change by way of gentle management and operations.

The project is focussed on "doing our bit" to combat climate change by engaging our local communities and by sensible and delicate land management.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We would like to raise £5000 which will allow us to fence off an area for use by the local community to cultivate perennial plants within the dedicated half an acre which will be situated next to the flower meadow that contribute to carbon capture. As well as this, we would aim to plant a further 150 native trees which are proven in their ability to absorb significant amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. We would also add a small pond which can play an important role in mitigating climate change.
