About London Citizens Advice:

We can all face problems that seem complicated or intimidating. At London Citizens Advice, we believe no one should have to face these problems without good quality, independent advice.

London Citizens Advice is a newly formed charity bringing together 28 local Citizens Advice offices across London. Whilst each member retains their own independent charity, we believe we can better meet Londoners needs and improve outcomes for our clients by working more closely together.

Together we’re working to enhance the accessibility and reach of advice services across London at the same time as influencing local and national policies to address systemic issues affecting the diverse communities of London.

Across London we are seeing increased demand for our services and we’re not able to support everyone that needs us. Clients are coming to us with more complex issues that are taking longer to resolve, stretching our capacity even further.

Impact in numbers

We help over 200,000 clients every year - that’s almost 500 clients every day.

Our partnership with the Greater London Authority and the London Legal Support Trust increases the capacity of advice services across London, supporting 39,000 Londoners with advice and information over its first 18 months.

How your fundraising will help

With your help we can support the people that need us most. Any donations we receive will go towards our area of greatest need - helping more clients. The support we offer will empower clients with the knowledge and tools so that they can solve their own problems in the future.

● £10,000 could enable us to do a London-wide adviser volunteer recruitment drive to bring on more volunteer advisers to the network

● £25,000 could start up a new pro bono legal clinic

● £50,000 could enable us to set up a ‘second tier support’ service for more complex cases that local offices currently do not have the expertise to deal with
