Empowering individuals with essential money-saving skills, budgeting, and practical tools to improve financial stability and reduce cost
by Nourish Support Centre in Kirkcaldy, Scotland, United Kingdom
At Nourish Support Centre, we are dedicated to helping individuals and families with additional support needs, regain control over their finances by providing practical support and education. Our passionate team of financial experts, community workers, and volunteers is driven by the belief that everyone deserves financial security and the skills to manage their resources effectively.
Our project, the Money Saving Toolkit, is a 9-week course designed to empower participants with essential financial knowledge, practical budgeting strategies, and smart shopping techniques. Each session will focus on a specific topic, from managing debt and reducing household costs to meal planning and seasonal saving tips.
In addition to learning, participants will receive weekly food parcels, recipe ideas, and, where possible, cooking utensils and small kitchen appliances like slow cookers and air fryers to reduce energy bills and make meal preparation easier. These resources are designed to ease immediate financial pressures while teaching sustainable skills for the future.
With the funds raised, we will cover staff costs for delivering and preparing each session, food parcels for participants, essential cooking tools, and administrative expenses to keep the program running smoothly. Our vision is to create a community where financial stability is achievable for everyone, no matter their circumstances. We aim to run the course four times a year, reaching up to 40 families annually, making a lasting impact on their financial well-being and overall quality of life.
Your support will help us make a difference—empowering individuals with the knowledge, tools, and resources to achieve financial independence.
