Help us to keep rolling around London on our rewilding mission! 

Citizen Zoo has been fortunate enough to have used a fully branded e-Berlingo van on loan to us for the last year from Citroën UK as part of our partnership with them, which has proved vital for transporting materials, staff, equipment, and even species across London and further afield. The video we created with Citroën UK and WeAre8 shows just how vital the van is to our water vole project specifically but it is equally valuable across all of our projects. Now, we have the unique opportunity to make this essential resource a permanent part of our operations, but we need your help to secure it!

The Need 

Due to volatile market conditions, Citroën UK is no longer able to loan our lovely van to us and has taken the difficult decision to recall it. Very kindly, they've offered us first refusal to purchase it, a chance we can’t afford to miss! The van has been like another member of the team, helping to streamline and increase efficiencies in our operations. Losing it would be hugely disruptive. 

Owning the van would ensure that our projects continue without any disruption and with the same efficiency that has enabled us to achieve so much in community-driven conservation.

The Solution 

We’re launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise £18,000, the cost needed to purchase the van. By owning it outright, we can ensure our projects’ longevity and reduce future operational costs, putting more of our funds directly into conservation efforts.

Check Out the Van in Action

Since May 2023, our cherished van has enabled us to survey grasshoppers in the New Forest, conduct restoration days at our Beaver release site, transport staff to release sites in Norfolk and run engagement activities across London. Take a look at the photos below to see it in action!
