Help Fund Free One-to-One Counselling for Young People (Aged 12–25) in Central Bedfordshire
Sorted Counselling Services is a registered charity based in Dunstable, dedicated to providing free and confidential counselling to children and young people aged 5 to 25. We support those affected by a wide range of challenges, including domestic, mental, or sexual abuse, bereavement, exploitation, anxiety, low self-esteem, bullying, trauma, and more.
Since 1997, we’ve been the only charity in Central Bedfordshire providing this vital, trusted service. Schools, GP surgeries, CAMHS, and Bedfordshire Talking Therapies regularly refer young people to us, but demand is rising fast, and without funding, we risk not being able to offer timely help.
Thanks to generous funding from the OPCC through the VEPP project and the National Lottery for our Fortis project, we’ve been able to deliver vital specialized services. However, our core community counselling service remains unfunded, despite increasing demand.
This means that while some projects are supported, our free counselling for the wider community has no guaranteed funding, putting this essential service at risk.
Your support today will help us keep providing free, one-to-one counselling sessions, offering a safe, non-judgmental space for young people to heal and grow.
Please donate to help us continue this crucial work and make a real difference in young lives across Central Bedfordshire.
Together, we can make a lasting difference for young minds.
