What you will be doing

This will be a varied role that can include volunteering for a variety of tasks from helping set up the games field, to putting up the event signage.

Roles will be allocated on each day based on your ability.

What we are looking for

We are looking for motivated individuals who like to be part of a team and can enjoy a challenge. Good listening and communication skills are helpful as we have a lot of visitors attending from all over the world.

What difference this will make

Firstly, without our volunteers, we would not be able to run our event and continue having the impact we have been delivering since 2014. You will also be joining a fantastic group of individuals that, just like you, want to support a good cause.

With your involvement, we will be able to:

  • Provide future vocational training for up to 20 young people.
  • Help us continue to provide a cultural sporting event for Stirling.
  • Provide an enjoyable experience for over 5000 visitors.
  • Support local businesses with a direct economic impact of over £600,000.
  • Continue to support over 10 jobs locally
  • Continue receiving a visitor rating of over 70% excellent / very good.
  • Continue to plant trees to offset some of the event stakeholder’s carbon emissions.

What to bring

It's Scotland.

It's an outdoor event.

Please make sure you wear sensible footwear and bring warm clothing just in case our order of sunshine on the 17th of August didn't get received.
