Raising funds to support a key team member’s salary & buy tools—so we can keep growing our charitable work in schools.

Who are we, and what is our project about?
The Papillon Project is an educational charity that promotes sustainable living and environmental awareness for young people. We work with secondary schools in Norfolk to inspire young people to grow their own food for themselves and their local community.
Our mission is achieved by creating and developing school allotments using mainly recycled, reclaimed and upcyclable materials.
It is our very dedicated mission to help rehearse the next generation to know how to grow their own food so we can all start to live in a world that is greener and far more sustainable.
Ultimately, our charitable work is about helping young people to feel more confident about themselves.
Why are we crowdfunding?
We're raising funds to support Emily, a key member of our new schools team at The Papillon Project. With a current contract running until August, we want to ensure she has the resources and support needed to thrive in her role—this includes helping to cover the remainder of her salary and providing essential equipment for her work in schools.
Additional funding would not only complete her current contract but could also extend her vital contribution into September, allowing us to reach and support even more young people through our educational work.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The funds raised will go towards covering the remainder of Emily’s salary for her role in our new schools team, as well as essential Health & Safety gear and equipment she needs to carry out her work—such as clothing, tools, and electric gardening equipment. Any additional funding may allow us to extend her contract beyond August, supporting her continued impact in schools.
How you can help
There are three simple ways to get involved and support our project:
1. Make a donation
Every pledge gets us closer to our goal. Early support can help build momentum and inspire others to give too.
2. Spread the word
Share our project with friends, family and your wider network. The more people we reach, the more likely we are to succeed.
3. Volunteer with us (optional – remove if not relevant)
If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch through the ‘Contact’ section using the subject "I want to volunteer my time or expertise" on our project page.
