This holiday season, Taff Ely Foodbank is on a mission to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry and to spread a little festive cheer to those facing hardships. 

We are aiming to raise £3,000 to support our Christmas initiative, and we need your help!

The Need in Our Community

While many of us look forward to a time of indulgence and celebration, the reality for many families is stark. In Wales, 30% of children are living in poverty, and the challenges they face are growing. Our goal this Christmas is to not only provide essential food supplies but also to bring joy through treats and festive goodies.  

Help us support people like Gareth, a single dad of two daughters. Struggling with rising food prices, he turned to us for help. We provided emergency food and a fuel bank voucher to keep them warm. Gareth said, “I am so grateful for your support and generosity.”

What We Aim to Provide

With your generous contributions, we plan to provide:

Emergency Food Packs: Ensure that families have access to essential groceries during the holiday season.

Festive Treats: We want to provide every child with an advent calendar and special treats that many of us often take for granted.
