The Blankfaces is the UK's first fashion label aimed at ending homelessness. Each design is inspired or created by someone that is or has experienced homelessness.
Through our time we have ran a number of projects from a winter jacket appeal for kids in poverty, coffee mornings for people that are lonely, to 3 food-banks. the most recent was our busiest, so much so that we kept it going. All of the feedback has been nothing but amazing.
we have been operating it from our office, we want to convert it to a food pantry. We want to give people the choice of what they want instead of pre packed bags, to take away the stigma of going to a food-bank by having it within the shop and in the privacy of back of house away from onlookers.
To treat people as human beings, not to jump through hoops for something as simple as a meal.
WE HAVE NOW BEEN OFFERED FREE FIT OUT BY TOPDRAWER GLASGOW. WE ARE LOWERING OUR TARGET BY £10,000 AS THIS WOULD BE COSTINGS FOR FIT OUT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT
