The Archer Project supports people in Sheffield and the wider region experiencing homelessness. Our charity is a safety net. We give people the tools to rebuild their lives, providing support at every stage on their journey away from homelessness. We work to instil confidence, build relationships and encourage recovery.

We will use any funds raised for the Engagement Service within our Project, which serves to support individuals experiencing homelessness in Sheffield. We offer a safe space for people who do not have a space to call home. When people first come to us for help, our support workers provide for people's basic needs while building relationships to encourage consistent visits to our centre.

Services provided include:

–Two substantial meals per day.

–Laundry.

–Shower facilities.

–Food parcels.

–Fresh clothing.

–Internet and phone access.

–A postal address.

–In-house GP, nurse and dental clinics, mental health, drug and alcohol treatment alongside other service providers.

–Signposting of appropriate care and support services.

We are experiencing unprecedented numbers of people needing help.

In 2023 we helped 1103 people and served 20,428 meals.

Year to date in 2024 we have already helped over 900 individuals and served over 14,000 meals. We need all the support we can get to continue to cope with the amount of people coming to us in need.

Please watch and read some of our stories from the people we have supported to see the progress that can be made away from homelessness.

“I always thought, tomorrows another day. That light in that darkness was fundamentally, one hundred percent, only present as a result of The Archer Project. Knowing that I would be able to not have to spend money on food, clothes, washing…it’s a rock. In between all the torture and the tornados that you go through being homeless, it’s an anchor.” – Anonymous beneficiary.

By supporting us now, the Aviva Community Fund will match any donation up to £250. This matched funding will be monumental for the stability of our Project. Please consider donating and sharing this appeal. If you require any more information about The Archer Project, please visit our website archerproject.org.uk or you can email [email protected]
