The Trust supports Local Community organisations and selected Organisations operating in overseas countries and disaster areas.Funds to support these activities are raised from members donations and fund-raising events in the local area.

Birkenhead's Rotarians are pictured responding to the terrible situation in Ukraine, supported by Tesco, Bidston, in March 2022, only days after the war started, and since raising over £7,000 for that appeal. Fundraising is about to take place to raise funds for Syria and Turkey via our partner disaster relief charity ShelterBox.
Alongside overseas support the club supports a number of community needs within Birkenhead, including community supermarkets, organisations supporting homeless people, Women and Children's Aid, a Youth Club - helping to fund a mini-bus and youth competitions.
The Club also presents funds to various organisations supporting children and adults with special needs.
Various clean-ups of areas are undertaken by Rotarians, local residents and councillors.
To fund all these activities and more that are not listed, the Club holds fundraising events, receives donations from its members and also raises funds during public appeals.
