The past few years have been challenging for all industries. However, it can be especially daunting when you are trying to create a financially sustainable business model while also achieving your social impact goals.

That to-do list gets longer, overheads get more expensive and as the everyday consumer feels the pinch of the cost of living crisis, trading becomes more difficult. 

Even if you have a strong team at your side, you can’t always share your worries with them. That’s why peer support can have a massive, positive impact on your resilience and mental wellbeing.

At Wild & Kind, we’re building a vibrant community where passionate leaders like you can thrive together, sharing insights, resources, and stories every step of the way.

As well as fostering peer support, one of our main goals going forward is to advance the education, empowerment and financial literacy of social entrepreneurs from underrepresented groups through workshops and training sessions. So even if you can't pledge today, get in touch if you need support. 

Online Platform

This is unlike what you may imagine when someone says ‘online community’. The platform we are building, as well as being designed to bring social entrepreneurs together, can also act as a customer-facing platform for your organisation (a bit like your own website) to share workshops, events, news and even recruit staff and volunteers.

We hope to have our site live by August/September 2024, so any membership-based pledges will begin once it’s ready to use!

Online Membership Rewards Available:

£50 - 12 month online VIP membership
A 12-month membership for the highest tier possible, as well as a 20% ‘forever discount’ for all online memberships for your organisation in the future.

£150 - Lifetime online VIP membership
A lifetime membership of the highest tier possible. we’re only offering a maximum of 20 of these so once they’re gone they’re gone.

Community Room

We will equip it with everything you need including a meeting pod, comfortable chairs, access to computers & software as well as a coffee & snacks station to ensure it becomes your home away from home.

We will run an initial pilot for 3 months, during which time we will only offer 12 memberships, but these members will have unrestricted access to use the space in the daytime as a group, as well as dedicated bookable time in the evenings/weekends to run events and workshops. We hope to swing our doors open wide for the pilot by June/July 2024!

Community Room Membership Rewards:

£100 - Room Hire (Glasgow)
8 hours of evening/weekend room hire (£12.50 per hour). Space holds approx 12. Valid once the pilot ends (approx Sept/Oct 24) for 6 months.

£250 - 3 Month Membership to our Community Room (Glasgow)
For social entrepreneurs looking for a workspace away from home, or in need of a regular venue to run meetings/workshops. Valid for 3 months once pilot launches (approx Jun/Jul 24) - you'll also receive a 12 month membership to our online platform.

What do we need?

We have an initial target of £5000. This is to help pay towards a meeting pod for the space. It's really just the minimum we need to get things off the ground.

But seeing as we're at the beginning of a such an exciting new journey, we've set a stretch target of £15,000. Reaching this would be incredible, as it would not only allow us add some finishing touches to the space (new flooring, phone booths etc) but it would also allow for us to hire additional staff to help run the new space!

We currently have a nationwide survey open to all social entrepreneurs. We would love to get your feedback. It only takes about 15 mins, and it's mostly 'click through-able', although we do leave plenty of space for you to give us more feedback if you have the time.

What if I want to choose more than one reward?
You can’t select more than 1 reward on the main page, however, if you would like to choose multiple rewards, click the reward of the highest value on this page, tally up the rest and add it as an additional donation on the next page. Can I visit the space before pledging? or call you for a chat?
YES! We’d love to hear from you, but as you can imagine we are really busy over the next few weeks, so if you’d like to send us your contact details to [email protected] we will get in touch to arrange a meeting!
