Good for you
Good luck raising the full amount for your carbon reduction endeavours
The Maltings is such an important community asset - hopefully the new lighting system will make it more sustainable for years to come.
Good Luck with your energy saving project.
If the dimmer is too dear, it might be better to provide the option of selective switching off of lights
Wirksworth Festival loves The Maltings and is so grateful for the many years we have been using it.
Such a worthy project, for the many and not just a select few. May The Light Force Be With You!! Very best wishes and good luck.
Thanks for all your hard work David and team
Kind donation from a supporter of the table tennis.
Many thanks to all of the generous people who raised this amount of money through the Table Tennis fund-raising marathon today. Thank you to the army of helpers who made this happen. The local table tennis players wish you every success with raising the money needed to secure this project.
Had a lovely time playing table tennis
This is a thoughtful continuation to recent work and will help many users of the Maltings.
This has been a great renovation so far. Better lighting will make such a difference to events.
Great cause - an asset to the community.
Great idea to modernise improve the lighting and save the environment
LED's at the bookshop have halved our lighting energy use, though it will take a decade or two to recoup the cost, hopefully quivker to recoup the embodied carbon.
Looking forward to ‘seeing the light’
The more green we become the better for everyone
