Support creative workshops, skill-building, and accredited awards to empower youth and adults, breaking barriers of poverty.

Urban Circle Newport, a grassroots, Black-led arts and advocacy charity, is joining forces with Community House, a trusted hub in Newport’s multicultural Maindee community. Together, we're launching an exciting project to empower young people, tackle poverty, and break down barriers that hold them back.
We’re delivering a series of innovative, engaging, and creative courses to help young people from diverse, often marginalised backgrounds gain new skills, qualifications, and confidence. Our project focuses on using arts, sports, and community work to provide clear pathways out of poverty for those who need it most.
Children and young people from communities like the Eastern European Gypsy Roma and South Asian communities in Newport face barriers such as discrimination, poverty, and lack of access to opportunities. Mainstream services often fail to meet their needs, leaving them isolated and excluded.
With your contribution, we’ll create life-changing opportunities for young people, equipping them with the tools and confidence to thrive.
