Warrington Foodbank

RCN 1152525, Warrington

Our foodbanks aims is to help the people of Warrington and surrounding areas who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress by the provision of food. We also support and supply the local food network with frozen, chilled and ambient food using our warehouse and vehicles. We need continued help to ensure that we can support local community, in times of crisis.

Warrington Foodbank

Warrington Foodbank helps people in food poverty or at point of crisis and we do this by offering food parcels.

In an effort to help people pre and post crisis, Warrington Foodbank have also setup and manage a small number of Affordable Food Projects in the form of food pantries across Warrington.

The aim of the project is to provide individuals and families with access to affordable food via a your local pantry model. The hope is that for just £5, we will be able to offer customers £20 to £25 worth of items.

The items on offer are fresh fruit and veg, tinned products, chilled/frozen produce and also other essential items i.e. soap, washing powder etc.

We already receive support from local food distributors but as a result of opening the affordable food projects we are having to travel a little further to collect chilled and frozen food.

Your support will ensure that we can not only continue to provide people with support who are living in food poverty or in an immediate crisis, but also enables us to support the food pantries and wider food network all with an aim of supporting the local community and providing access to services pre and post crisis.
