To provide the best in palliative care by providing an appropriate and comfortable environment, well trained and sensitive staff to address the needs of patients and those around them. We work closely with colleagues in the primary care and hospital settings. Innovative practice is important to the hospice and we look forward to developing End of Life programmes to embrace a range of diseases.

1Weston Hospicecare provides free expert and compassionate palliative care to people living with a life-limiting illness both at home and in the hospice at Jackson-Barstow House. We also support their families both before, during and after death.
Over 700 volunteers and 150 dedicated staff serve a population of 170,000 within Weston-super-Mare and surrounding towns and villages in North Somerset and Sedgemoor.
The hospice has been providing vital care to the community for over 30 years and is funded by public donations and gifts in wills.
Our team is made up of specialised medical professionals and support staff who ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
Our goal is to help people live as well as they can, for as long as they can so they can feel like family and friends again, not just patients and carers.
