What makes you proud?

As part of people’s project submissions, we have asked them to share what makes them most proud of their community, their projects and the organisations they are requesting funding for.

WE have manged to include disabled players in sports that they were previously excluded from, and doing so they have developed skills, improrved their self esteem and most importantly ahe made new friends and have fun!

Radio Wishing Well is regarded highly within Trafford General. In the past, some of our former members have gone on to professional tv and radio, either on air or behind the scenes.

Supporting early years education is so important for our children and can really make all the difference in the way a child is set up for life.

We were founded by parents of a child with Duchenne and we play a central role in the global Duchenne community; when we hear "I did not choose to forfeit the use of my legs so why should I have to fight for the correct equipment to enable my mobility" we know this is a project we will be proud of.
