Description

The project, is run and supported by volunteers who adopt areas within the Acocks Green area of Birmingham, which may be owned by the Council or private individuals. The volunteers clear and replant the areas, tidying and watering throughout the year. These areas include churchyards, grassed roundabouts, neglected gardens and planters that the council have provided.
The same volunteers tend a common space called Millennium Green and tidy an adopted areas of the Canal in Acocks Green.
The community appreciate all the hard work the volunteers undertake. Stopping to commend the hard work. The work has also been rewarded in the annual Village in Bloom awards.
