Description

Purchase of playground sporting resources i.e.

- Playground markings ( bleep test, trim trail & long jump)
- Playground table and benches.

The school is keen to promote additional sports facilities in the playground. At present there are limited facilities and space is a minimal. Therefore use of space has to be multifunctional. Playground markings provide the children with opportunity to exercise while playing, but still have the space to do other activities.

As a small rural school adding playground markings are an exciting, colourful and cost effective way for schools to provide additional facilities for the children Designs are available in a variety of sizes and colours. These promote healthy active play as well as aids for numeracy etc.

Table and benches can be used both at playtime as well as when there is outdoor classroom learning.

At the moment children take part in the daily mile, it is simple and free and gets children out of the classroom for fifteen minutes every day to run or jog, at their own pace, with their classmates, making them fitter, healthier, and more able to concentrate in the classroom.
By adding this equipment to our playground it will add interest and variety, increasing enthusiasm to this daily event.
