Skills for life

Funding level: £1,001 to £5,000

Description

Crosshall Infant School Academy Trust is an outstanding school of 430 pupils aged between 3 and 7. We have been developing our outdoor provision over a number of years to enable our children to be active, healthy and to participate in many areas of the curriculum in outdoor activities. Our playground is an exciting place for the children to be. During the summer holiday we have fenced in a large piece of the grassed area at the front of our school to create an additional learning environment for our children. We have a team of staff who are leading the project to develop this area into an exciting learning environment. We also have a fundraising committee who are working hard to raise funds to enable us to develop this area. We want to develop an outdoor area where the children will be able to participate in learner led, nature based activities that will allow them to develop personal, social and emotional skills. The funding of £1000.00 will be used to purchase equipment for the new area and will be able to be used immediately by the children under the guidance of staff.
