Description

MyRaynesPark Festival is a community arts festival for the residents of SW20. We've now been running for eight years and have brought comedy, art, music, drama, poetry and family fun to our local town!

Organised by Raynes Park Salvation Army and with support from other local groups we are a non-profit making organisation.

Our core values are;
1. Celebration - every year we have some kind of party!
2. Inclusivity - over 90% of our events are free and open to all. We also organise a wide variety of events with access points for all.
3. Creativity - not only do we have world class performers but there are plenty of opportunities for local residents to get involved.
4. Family - we put on intergenerational events.
5. Community - we seek to bring the community together and promote local groups that run throughout the year to a wider network.
6. Justice - we promote social justice issues, previously including; Refugee Week and anti-trafficking in the borough of Merton.

We have exciting plans for the summer of 2019 and are looking for your support to help us realise these plans;
- Community Funday
- Children's storyteller
- Open mic poetry evening
- Comedy night
- Pub Quiz
- Art exhibition in the centre of Raynes Park
