Llandudno Cricket Club is a community club in North Wales.
The club has been in existence over 100 years.
The club has had success over the past 20 years due to its policy of training and producing youngsters in state schools through its ranks to play senior cricket.
The club has over the last few years worked very closely with schools in the area to provide free coaching to youngsters .
The idea being that the youngsters take an interest in the sport and are attracted to play at our club.
All our coaches are volunteers and work and coach unpaid .
However we are badly n need of kit.
We run four age groups at under nine, eleven , thirteen and fifteen.
The club need to provide this kit and at different sizes for different age groups.
Things like bats, balls, helmets and protective equipment to ensure the children taking part are safe and remain injury free.
The equipment is often too expensive for many of our youngsters and this must not prevent children from taking part.
The club are planning an ambitious programme for the 2019 season with the World Cup looming in this country in 2019 and will require the kit to further the programme.
